For more than thirty years, I have been fortunate to work as a deckhand, engineer, and boat captain from Alaska to Hawaii, which has afforded me the opportunity to see many untouched, hidden places and experience Mother Nature’s true spirit. Consequently, I have developed a profound respect for the planet’s unpredictable outdoors. It is my wish that our children and our children’s children have the chance to see and experience the things I have been so blessed to have been exposed to. In a time when the natural world seems especially vulnerable, I want to promote the preservation of wild and scenic places for generations to come.
