Cleaning Up the River

Join us in keeping the Upper Missouri River clean

Bashin' Trash

Join us and the Sun River Watershed Group as we keep our rivers clean! UMOWA organizes volunteer cleanup events along the Upper Missouri River to remove trash and debris that threaten water quality, wildlife habitat, and the natural beauty of the watershed.

Our Bashin' Trash events bring together community members, local businesses, and conservation groups for a day of hands-on river stewardship. Whether you're an experienced volunteer or joining for the first time, every pair of hands makes a difference.

Play Bashin' Trash Bingo

While you're cleaning up the river, turn it into a game! Print our Bashin' Trash Bingo card and check off items as you find them — from fly line and tackle boxes to mystery shoes and Mountain Man cans.

Submit your completed BINGO card and photos to bashin.trash.mo@gmail.com to be entered in the prize drawing, and post your finds to social media with #bashinmotrash.
